Clean Room Solutions

In the majority of cases, medical injection molding means clean room molding. Our automation systems combine  high availability, large cavity numbers and short process times to ensure efficient clean room utilization. In many cases, HEKUMA’s integrated clean room technology package obviates the need for large and expensive clean rooms.

Cavity-Oriented Quality Assurance

Automated quality inspection immediately after the molding process separates faulty parts from further downstream processing. In many cases cavity-oriented packaging and quality assurance helps to maintain high production output even in case of defects in specific cavities.

Sorting, Multipart Assembly and Sterile Packaging

Pre- and post-processing include, cavity-oriented sorting, quality assurance and packaging as well as solutions for complex multi-part assembly. Sterile stacking, banding and wrapping can be performed within the clean room, with subsequent transfer to either custom designed or standardized downstream bagging and boxing systems like tray servers, carton loading stations or automated palletizing systems etc.

Qualification and Validation

In the medical sector, scarcely anything is possible without detailed system qualification and validation procedures according to numerous standards like ISO, FDA, GMP and GAMP. HEKUMA offers to support its customers with the often complex and laborious FMEA, DQ, IQ and OQ qualification documentation and carries out the whole qualification processes completely on request.
