Under the name HEKUtip, we offer our customers a wide variety of solutions for pipette tips, including the brand new filter presorting.
Basically, filters in the pipette tips are used to limit the liquid to be pipetted. They prevent unwanted particles or impurities from entering the pipette and thus affecting accurate dispensing of the liquid.
The prerequisite for this is that they are precisely pressed into the pipette tips. This is where our stand-alone filter presorting system comes in. Currently still being used as a proof of principle, it is intended as an ideal supplement to our filter assembly system to ensure that only precise and sharp-edged filters go into the assembly process by sorting out broken filters, filters that are stuck together, or filters with burrs.
